Can HO scale train track be placed on carpet? - ho scale track layouts
I design for my son with the Atlas True-Track, which is not the best way in the world.
It is difficult to keep together and he thought the upgrade.
I thought Kato Uni-Track.
My general question is whether the current design is sitting on the carpet in his room.
This is a simple configuration with a DC-based MRC controller.
Is it safe? The track has constructed a gradient of plastic, so that is not the real issue, nickel on the carpet, but I just wanted to be sure.
Should I, bits of cork bottom, in order to be saved? Or, the platform is plastic enough?
Even someone with experience UNITRACK Kato? Something like the Tru-Track?
